1/ Fill your cupboards intelligently and cook “better”
It is not necessarily easy for everyone to rethink their diet overnight. Indeed, the current lockdown, which limits our movements to the bare minimum and with it, our energy expenditure, leads us to rethink and adapt the contents of our plates. Although they are the fuel of our body, avoid placing carbohydrates at the center of your diet; favor fresh fruits and vegetables ( and seasonal ) rich in fiber, vitamins and antioxidants. Also, do not hesitate to consume raw frozen products, that is to say uncooked, because they sometimes contain more vitamins than certain fresh products, because they are picked when ripe. However, do not ban any ingredient from your meals because it is all a question of dosage. Indeed, the ideal plate must respect the rule of quarters :
- 1/4 carbohydrates , trying to vary the types as much as possible - 1/4 protein , vegetable or animal
- 2/4 fruits and vegetables .
Finally, take advantage of your time to delve into cookbooks and try new culinary experiences, or to follow your favorite chefs who now reveal the secrets of their recipes to you!

2/ Avoid snacking
A formidable enemy of confinement, snacking often “feeds” on boredom.
Whether or not you have decided to succumb to the call of your stomach, do not lose sight of the fact that our energy expenditure is much lower during this period of confinement and that repeated deviations will not be without consequences on the scale. If you are seized by an irresistible urge to snack, 3 possibilities are available to you: - occupy your mind and thus distract yourself from the hunger that is gnawing at you by going for a little walk, without forgetting your travel certificate , by starting a spring cleaning to the rhythm of your favorite playlist or even in a sports session, whatever the level of intensity.
- drink, but not just anything! By drinking a large glass of water ( in which you can add lemon, which acts as an excellent antioxidant, a few slices of cucumber and mint leaves ) or a cup of tea, you cut the feeling of hunger and eliminate toxins from your body.
- stop resisting and intelligently give in to your desire to snack by favoring so-called "light" snacks such as fruits ( to be eaten raw, in compote or in a smoothie, more filling ), raw vegetables, 0% fromage blanc or even dried fruits or nuts ( walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, etc. )
