Garancia launches a new range of solar products

Savéria Coste, the founder of Garancia, has finally found the magic formula for her sunscreens. All controversial filters and ingredients have been removed, but the brand has chosen "clean" organic filters to maintain the expected sensoriality, which is key to loyalty and the application of a sunscreen.

The program therefore includes a shield of different organic filters, combined with a bioprotective cocktail . To broaden the spectrum of its protection, the founder combined two red algae extracts with pongamia oil. Its antioxidant potential strengthens the skin's natural protection mechanisms.

The range consists of three protective products:

Red Solar Water Metamorphosing Tanning Accelerator SPF30

The range also offers an Express Fresh Milky Mist after sun . The launch will be supported by a massive, exclusively digital communication campaign.

The launch of the Solar range

Asked about the context of the launch, Savéria Coste explained that the French cosmetics market was very dynamic and that Garancia was outperforming with growth of 18.4% in 2022 (versus 12% for total para + pharma beauty according to GERS). In pharmacy, growth is driven by sunscreens (+34.5% in 2022) ahead of facial and then body care. This is why Garancia decided to launch itself in this market by providing a "clean" and sensory formula which represents a real challenge.

Advantages of the range

Asked about the advantages of this range of sun products, Savéria Coste explained that the brand had chosen organic filters with "clean" and more environmentally friendly formulas, rated 100% on Yuka. Active ingredients have been added to protect the skin's elastin capital. The protective cocktail has been formulated in an ultra-sensory and deliciously scented galenic. Garancia is therefore bringing innovation to a saturated market held by leaders on only a few references.

By launching this range of sun products formulated with “clean” organic filters, Garancia is offering an environmentally friendly alternative that is beneficial for skin health, while providing a pleasant sensory experience.
