The sun emits radiation: UV rays. Among them, in cosmetics, it is UVA, UVB and blue light that are of concern because they reach the skin.
UVA rays, emitted by the sun, penetrate the deep layer of the skin: the dermis. Present in too great a quantity in the skin, it then undergoes premature aging:wrinklesand sometasksappear, it loses elasticity.
UVB rays, on the other hand, are necessary to give the skin the energy it needs to produce vitamin D. However, if they penetrate the epidermis too intensely, they can cause damage. How to choose your UV index?
