Savéria Coste's beauty tips

Sommaire

Garancia's highly inspired founder reigns as a sorceress over dermocosmetics with innovative and dreamlike formulas.
Her beauty and wellness secrets.

How was Garancia born?

When I was a pharmacist, I often recommended exfoliants, which I believed were the key to beautiful skin. But at the time, only formulas with fruit acids or abrasive particles existed, which could irritate. I wanted to create a daily exfoliating treatment that was both gentle and powerful. The secret: stabilizing enzymes that rid the skin of dead cells and help it regenerate. So it was with the Pschitt Magique micropeeling that I launched Garancia.

You often lean into magic, why?

My goal was to create skincare products that were so effective they became magical. I maintain this approach in all my creations. The world of magic also comes from my Corsican origins: I grew up with tales of sorcerers, which influenced me. But be careful, no magic without science!

Your family includes four generations of pharmacists. Any beauty advice inherited from your ancestors?

Grandma used to tell me: "Your plate is your first beauty prescription." A diet rich in seasonal fruits and vegetables is essential and provides a good supply of antioxidants.

And you, what advice would you give?

That only regular exfoliation of the epidermis provides a radiant complexion, enhances the skin, makes it toned, and also optimizes the penetration of skincare products.

Your first beauty step in the morning?

Cleansing my face with Pschitt Magique to improve skin texture.

Are you a makeup addict?

No, my routine is quick: a BB cream, a touch of bronzing powder, a line of black pencil, a cinnamon lipstick, that's all!

The makeup that boosts you?

I'm addicted to semi-permanent nail polish. It's very chic!

In case of stress, what do you do?

I take ten deep breaths, sniffing a cotton pad soaked in orange blossom water.

A secret to staying in shape all year round?

Thirty minutes of jogging a day in a wood near my home, before hugging my favorite tree, a Laricio pine. It might seem strange, but it does a world of good.

Easy steps for more responsible beauty?

I favor products in refillable packaging to limit waste and use washable cotton wipes.
