« My story is based on four generations of a pharmacists’ family, with a long tradition of passionate interest in dermocosmetics. According to my Corsicans origins, I am very attached to traditions and respect for nature, just like my formulations. As a pharmacist, I commit myself to healthy and effective, conscientious about our skin and therefore of our health. »

1908
BIRTH OF A LINE OF PHARMACISTS, THE LOVE OF PLANTS IN HERITAGE
In 1908, the pharmacist Pierre Girault, great-grandfather of Savéria Coste, created his pharmacy in Marseille. A great specialist in botany, his cosmetic preparations with plants ensured his reputation. Then followed Fernand Stanislas Girault, Savéria Coste's grandfather, and his wife, both pharmacists, as well as their son and his wife, also pharmacists. They took over the pharmacy and developed it to create a self-service space dedicated to "holistic beauty". Customers discover a totally innovative dispensary, dedicated to dermo-cosmetics, herbal teas and other wellness products. When she was born, Savéria Girault, who was to become Savéria Coste, already carried in her veins a love of plants and cosmetic preparations. She is the fourth generation of pharmacists.
2004
CREATION OF THE GARANCIA LABORATORY: THE BOTANICAL ALCHEMY OF THE FUTURE
It was while working on a revolutionary active ingredient that Savéria came up with its very first formula: "A mousse that will act in 30 seconds to transform the quality of the skin's texture... a cult product was born: Pschtt Magic®". The product keeps its promises and the alchemy of the brand Garancia operates ... The successful marriage of high technology and naturalness propels the Pschtt Magic among the essentials of the beauty ritual. It seduced many stars and won 3rd prize in the Beauty Challengers Awards out of 70 international brands at the Cosmeeting show. Today, one is sold every ten minutes!
2007
A MYSTERIOUS YEAR
When she heard about the studies conducted by a Swiss research laboratory that proved the effectiveness of snake venom on skin tone, the "scientist" faced the evidence and won out over the "snake phobic"... This is how the Mysterious line was born, a global anti-aging skin care line, with clinically proven effectiveness, particularly on expression lines.
2008
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH WITHOUT BORDERS
After many collaborations with European researchers, Savéria turned her scientific eye towards the United States. It was there that she met her "plant hunter". The researcher-explorer unearthed the "Dragon Blood" in the heart of the Amazonian forest. A red resin used as a real botanical dressing by the Indian tribes. Savéria will use it in the composition of the cult care Diabolic Tomato, the Thistle and the Marabou and Immortal Express Shot. Gentleman adventurer, the plant hunter does not hesitate to risk his skin to save ours! Diabolic Tomato and Thistle and Marabou will both receive the Marie Claire France Excellence Award 2013. Immortal Express Shot MG6P will receive shortly after the Grand Prix Avantages de la Beauté in 2015 as well as Le prix Femme Actuelle 2016 for the version Immortal Express Shot EGF.
2012
CARE SO EFFECTIVE THAT IT BECOMES MAGICAL!
Garancia's range of products continues to expand, with the launch of the Marabou anti-blemish line and the Bewitching Formula To End Crocodile Skin body cream. Savéria draws her inspiration from the Corsican landscapes, the land of her ancestors, her travels around the world, her readings and her childhood memories. That year, the company won the Votre beauté Gold Medal and the Marie Clair Beauty France Excellence Award.
2013
TEARS OF JOY
Strengthened by the enthusiasm of its loyal customers, Savéria decided in 2013 to sublimate the eyes of women in order to reveal, through its radiance, our most intimate secrets. The product born of these considerations and scientific research, is white, clear and disappears upon application ... like a ghostly milky veil, hence its name: Phantom's Tears. It fights against the signs of fatigue, favors microcirculation, and gives you a glowing look. This treatment will be quickly rewarded: Winner of the Victoires de la Beauté in 2013 and Grand Prix Avantages de la beauté in 2014.
2014
THE MASKED BALL
That year, 5 new products made their debut in pharmacies, including the first 3 The Sorcerers’ Masked Ball and its amazing self-foaming mask. A year that was crowned by a favorite from the jury of the Médailles d'Or Votre Beauté. It is a passion for research, beauty and women that is rewarded.
2015
A BIRTHDAY, CULT PRODUCTS
10 years after the beginning of the adventure, the Pschtt is still as Magic as ever! One is sold every 10 minutes. 10 years later, because each product carries a unique innovation, each product is cult in its category. "There is no magic without science. And what matters to us at Garancia is the product, its promise" Savéria Coste.
2016
EVER MORE MIND-BOGGLING CARE
In 2016, Savéria decided to sublimate while protecting women's skin: Laboratoire Garancia opened up to the world of makeup, with 2 formulas on the border between skincare and makeup. The brand's many fans replace their loose powder with Hallucinogen, a transparent liquid powder complexion care product, and include My Beloved Vap’, a makeup-fixing mist with 4 powers, in their beauty ritual. These two products also contain innovative active ingredients that fight against new scourges that contribute to skin aging: pollution and blue light. Hallucinogen will be awarded the 2017 Grand Prix Avantages de la beauté as well as the 2017 CosmétiquesMag Oscar for makeup in pharmacies.

A CRACKLING ENTRY IN SLIMMING
A new product is on everyone's lips: Magic Me Thin is making a remarkable entry into the slimming market. The express anti-cellulite foam, which mimics and enhances the results of a sports session, is attracting many consumers. The reasons? A formula with 4-in-1 active ingredients, results as early as 14 days on dimpled skin, a powdery, beautifying texture and a fun, pleasant application that crackles under the fingers of every fairy who uses it. Garancia's first advertising campaign highlights the Magic Me Thin express anti-cellulite foam, launched 1 year earlier. It is a slimming care with multi-action assets: Slimming + Anti-Cellulite + Firming + Draining. With immediate express results, its active ingredients enhance the effects of a sports session. Great!

GARANCIA THE STUDENT MODEL OF CLEAN FORMULAS
Garancia ranks among the best in the cosmetics world. Thanks to its minimalist formulas and healthy ingredients, the brand is cited as an example in Yuka's impact measurement survey.

This launch is accompanied by a new eco-responsible commitment: for each product purchased, Garancia is committed to planting a tree in conjunction with the Tree Nation association.

ECO-RESPONSIBILITY AT THE HEART OF GARANCIA'S FORMULAS
The brand is stepping up its commitment to respecting people and the environment. The packaging includes recycled plastic, and the boxes come from sustainably managed forests and are FSC-labeled.
By 2025, plastic packaging will be recyclable, reusable or compostable. Always in a societal and environmental approach, Garancia advocates a sourcing of many assets as natural and effective, as socially and environmentally responsible.
